Dragon Ball Super is back in Fortnite with new Piccolo and Gohan skins

The official Fortnite Twitter account revealed yesterday that another collaboration with Dragon Ball Super is coming to the Battle Royale and now it’s live.

It brings two new quests (with rewards) and a skin for Piccolo and Gohan. They can both be purchased from the Item Shop and each comes with accessories. The Dragon Ball Super outfits and accessories from the first collaboration will return to the item shop at a later, unspecified date.

The Son Gohan outfit comes with Gohan’s Cape Back Bling (can only be used with this outfit), but can also be bought Gohan’s beast ax pickaxe and the Capsule No. 576 Glider separated. The Piccolo outfit comes with Piccolo’s Cape and Turban Back Bling (can only be used with this outfit) and Piccolo’s Demon Symbol Back Blingbut you can also buy Piccolo’s portable house pickaxe and the Red Ribbon Army Airplane Glider. The Piccolo outfit features the built in Charge Emote in the change Power Awakening version of Piccolo (this version can also be selected in the locker).

“In the v23.30 update, Son Gohan and Piccolo from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie make their Fortnite debuts, attack object Kamehameha and mobility object Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) are out of the vault, and Dragon Ball Adventure Island is back.” it in a press release from Epic Games. “During each match in Battle Royale/Zero Build, the items Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) will fall from the sky in pods.

“Launch a devastating energy beam with the Kamehameha and fly around the island with the Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun)! The frequency of pods will increase as the storm approaches, meaning the end of each fight is prime time for an epic showdown will be .”

Both items will remain in Standard Battle Royale and Zero Build matches until v23.40.

Beyond battle royales, the Dragon Ball Adventure Island is back in creative mode. As in August, this island features Goku’s house, Kami’s palace, the room of mind and time, and the planet of Beerus. You can also test your strength in the open PvP battle arena Tenkaichi Budokai on the island.

Starting today, you can complete a weekly Dragon Ball-themed quest on this island to unlock it Orange piccolo sprayand on February 7th you can complete another weekly quest on the island to unlock it Gohan Beast Spray (both pictured below). The island code is 5642-8525-5429.

This v23.30 update also introduces five new Reality Augments to the game:

• Rift Jetor Seat: Each time your shield breaks, you blast into the sky with a short delay.
• shadowhunters: Become able to get shadow bombs from containers
• Icy slide: Get a short icy speed boost after sliding.
• Harvester: Foliage you destroy will drop Big Bush Bombs and forage items. It also increases the effectiveness of feed consumption.
• Mythic Ammo: Obtain a Mythic Pistol.

Other aspects of this update include the news that weekly quests no longer expire after a week. Additionally, all weekly quests from Chapter 4 Season 1 will remain for the duration of the season.
