Audiences of DRAGONS ‘Den were left gasping after a contestant was likened to a legendary pop star.
Viewers of the show’s business on Thursday night were forced to double down when Nick Johnson and Nick Graham advertised their high-end liquor business.
Despite sharing the same name, the Dragons are surprised by another striking similarity that cannot be ignored.
Taking to the floor, the duo’s initial pitch went smoothly, as they revealed the idea behind their alcoholic sparkling water series.
Nick and Nick, who have been friends since school, came up with the idea to bring this trend to the UK while on holiday in Canada.
But when the business partners touted and displayed their canned drinks, the Dragons clearly had something else on their mind.
When it’s time to ask questions, Steven Bartlett finally ask the obvious question: “Have you ever considered yourself a Robbie Williams impostor?”
And Peter Jones agrees: “From there, you look like Robbie. Robbie is a friend of mine.”
Nick laughs that he was asked exactly that question and replies, “I’m a much less beautiful version of myself.”
Despite the pop star’s good looks, the Dragons unfortunately couldn’t find a way to invest in Nick’s business and all declared themselves “out of the way”.
Dragons’ Den returns next Thursday at 8pm on BBC One.
