Los Angeles: CCTV captures the moment a woman is hit by a car

This is the dramatic moment where two thieves ram a woman with a car before jumping out and stealing her watch.

Video, taken in Los Angeles’ jewelry district, shows the terrified woman running into the middle of a busy city street in broad daylight last Monday.

She had just visited a jewelry store when she realized she was being followed by a silver Dodge Challenger.

As she approached an intersection, a man in the Dodge rammed into her vehicle, shattering the driver’s side window.

The woman was then filmed trying to call a white SUV for help while being pursued by the silver Dodge.

To her dismay, the SUV corners around the woman and speeds away in the distance.

A passer-by tried to rush to the woman’s aid but backed away after seeing the two robbers run out of the car and pick up something off the ground.

They then return to the victim, who was only slightly injured, police said.

The shocking crime has become part of a robbery trend in Los Angeles, with thieves targeting victims and then following them to remote areas.
