The Queensland Department for Roads and Transport has created an intersection quiz that asks Australian drivers if they think they can turn right after the traffic light changes.

“Only move forward when the traffic light is green if you have enough room to safely cross the intersection or you are about to turn right. If the traffic light is not working, treat the situation as if you were going. Cross the junction with no signs and proceed carefully.”
