Drivers blast ‘Britain’s most hated car park’ with ‘narrow compartments and £100 fine for being 10 minutes late’

DRIVERS blew up the “most hated” car park in the UK and told others to “stay away like the plague”.
Angry motorists have claimed that making a reservation at a car park in Headingley, West Yorkshire, took more than 10 minutes and this resulted in a hefty £100 fine.
One angry visitor said the parking lot was “immoral, greedy and downright disgraceful”.
Others have complained that St Anne’s car park, on Otley Road and St Anne Road, is run by “complete cowboys”.
St Anne’s has been accused of being an “absolute scammer” with “bad signage” and “too bad parking”.
This establishment has been rated 25 times on Google reviews, averaging 2.1 stars out of 5, LeedsLive report.
‘CLICK LIE’
To use the parking space, you must make a reservation using the app or by phone.
However, the process can take more than 10 minutes and the delay is thought to result in a £100 penalty for the driver.
The owners of the parking lot said they were a separate organization from the booking company, Creative Car Parking Solutions, and that they did not benefit from the fine.
In a statement, they said: “The owner of this parking lot earns nothing from the fines imposed by Creative Car Parking Solutions Limited, who were hired to monitor parking usage.
“This company was chosen because they are a member of the British Parking Association, members of which are required to carry out their work according to a strict code of practice available to view on their website.”
PARKING MAD
This comes like a fuming Mom was slapped with a 100 pound note because her 4×4 is “too big” for any existing parking.
Tracey Carlisle, 57, was running errands for her elderly mother when she was hit with a fixed fine in a free parking lot.
She figured her vehicle, a Nissan Navara pickup, was too big for any space in Beacon Hill Retail Park, Newark, so she had to use two seats.
Mother-of-two Tracey said: “I’m not denying that we parked on a bay but it wasn’t done without consideration.”
Another fuming the driver was fined £100 for his tire is ONE INCH on the bay.
NHS worker, Ed Smith, felt a pang of parking fines just days before Christmas.
He backed up his BMW 1 Series in his own place in Birmingham city center on December 20 but a small portion of his tire went over the line and this resulted in a fine.
Ed said: “I was upset and annoyed when I received this ticket.
“The bay next to me is unused and parking is very narrow.”
