Dungeons & Dragons Online is adding the Tabaxi and opening pre-orders for the next expansion tomorrow

A new update for Dungeons & Dragons Online will go live tomorrow and this update brings the Tabaxi to the game and the Tabaxi Trailblazer Iconic as well as a bunch of bug fixes and UI changes. The next expansion island of terror, will also be available for pre-order ahead of its June 8 release.

The Tabaxi are the core of this new update. This new base race consists of a cat people that look like large jungle cats. They are quick, careful and skillful. This race starts in Eberron and is suited to various classes, but especially those who use Dexterity and Charisma, such as Monks, Bards, and Rogues.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Tabaxi are able to level up and become elusive and cunning, as well as being fast and able to deliver sharp, quick punches, get away with less damage, and ultimately become versatile in those arts be.

The Tabaxi Trailblazer is a new icon that starts in Sharn at Monk level. Those who hold the Trailblazer title passed from generation to generation move forward. They also gain the ability to negate fall damage and move quickly, their trees can also allow them to expand bonuses to dodge, dash and use their dexterity to learn how to master quarterstaffs.

When it comes to other changes in the update, some of the UI changes include character sheet updates, which generally result in a visual boost, text changes, and some text position tweaks. There are also some changes to how character levels are displayed. Even the character select screen doesn’t show your epic class levels, and examining another player will show their overall level and class breakdown information with no epic level attached. Some of the fixes range from skills that should work as they should to typos and text corrections. When monsters cast Flame Strike, it deals damage to players again.
