Dungeons & Dragons Online Marks its 16th anniversary and unlocks more races and classes for free


The latest update for Dungeons & Dragons Online, update 53 Hunter and Hunted is out tomorrow. The update includes a new Adventure Pack, a 16th anniversary Ddo comeback event, and some races and classes from the core D&D Player Handbook now permanently unlocked for all everyone.

The new content pack Hunter and Hunted is included for VIP and is available for purchase in the DDO store. It contains two dungeons that end a level 32 raid on legendary difficulty. The quests included in the content are level 7 on hero difficulty. If you are looking for something new, you can start your adventure tomorrow.

The anniversary event is back and since it’s the 16th year of DDO , they will donate some cosmetic costumes will be tied to the account when received. Once a day, characters can talk to the Commemoration Djinn outside the anniversary dungeon and choose an outfit once a day until December 31, 2022. The anniversary event runs through December 20. March. There are several new items, including masks and caps, and even some new changes, new dialogue, secrets, and jokes for this year’s events. There are also some previous anniversary gifts in stock of barter vendors.

People will also be able to play the following races from the D&D Player’s Handbook as a free permanent unlock. The currently unlocked races are Dragonborn, Drow, Gnome, Half-elf, Half-orc, Tiefling and Wood-elf. The newly unlocked classes are Druid, Monk and Warlock. Players who purchased these races and classes will receive Greater Elixir of Discovery for each race and class they own prior to the release of update 53.

With Drow permanently unlocked for all, Warforged will now be awarded on a per-server basis at 400 Offers. If you’ve reached 400 and unlocked the Drow, you’ll unlock Warforged when you log in.
