Lottie said: “The Savage song, the barbaric dance, and after last week’s record-breaking start, I think it’s going to be a tough one for Erica in terms of the highs and lows of a Foxtrot.

“This is a very different tempo, a very different style, a very different Erica that we will expect to see this Sunday.

“Another big show from last week was of course Jordan and Salome and I can reveal they were dancing Jake Bugg’s Quickstep to Lightening Bolt.

“Quickstep is a dance that I didn’t have to practice until the end of the series and to be honest I struggled with it. I thought it was incredibly difficult.

“I had a particularly fast Quickstep and I was breathless at the end of each performance.

“Technically it’s really, really hard and you have to be very calm, calm and relaxed but underneath your feet are going 90 miles an hour, so I would be interested in them continuing. with this.”

Lottie next revealed that Missy Keating and Ervinas will join Sean Paul’s Samba to Dynamite with Sia.

Lottie said she looks forward to seeing Missy come out of her “cute” performance and show off her sexy side.

She continued: “One of the best performances in my opinion from week one was Nina Carberry and Pasquale la Rocca doing Quickstep – it was beautiful.”

Speaking to the couple during their practice, Nina told Lottie that they were rehearsing the Rumba for Yola’s Starlight.

Nina said: “It’s a sexy, powerful dance and I’m just a little insecure about what my girls are watching!

“It’s the thing on the back of my head, so I have to get over that a little bit but I’m really looking forward to doing it and getting into the rhythm of the Rumba.”

Pasquale describes Nina as “a machine” as she puts her full focus on the performance.

Fourth on the rankings, Nina added: “I have to come out of myself and become a fundamentally different person, so that will be the biggest challenge for me.”

This weekend, Grainne Seoige and John Nolan will hit the dance floor with Cliff Richard’s Paso Doble to Devil Woman.

Lottie was looking forward to seeing the “darker, more intense” side of Grainne when she revealed that Nicolas Roche and Karen Byrne would be joining Damien Rice’s Viennese Waltz to Unplayed Piano.

RTE announcer Aengus MacGrianna will perform a Waltz with his partner Emily Barker on Seal’s version of If You Don’t Know Me By Now.

Lottie said: “I think Aengus will make it. I think Emily is known for a nice Waltz and there’s something about Aengus that tells me he’d accept that slower pace on the dance floor. “

Neil Delamere and his partner Kylee Vincent will perform Charleston on Sunday night.

Speaking to Lottie, Neil said he’s looking forward to doing “the opposite of Paso Doble”, which he performed in week one.

He said: “My partner Kylee asked me to do things that I’ve really never done before in my life in terms of gymnastics movements. And I don’t think you should learn bodyweight moves. sex after you turn 35.

“I’ve got a hamstring strain. My main worry isn’t that I’ll miss a step… but that you need strength for the elevator in Charleston. You can get rid of it if you’re a little sloppy with the others. but in that explosive growth situation, you’d be a bit worried about it.”

After their conversation, Lottie said: “I can’t wait to meet Neil, he’s going to be one of the contestants I look forward to seeing every week because I think his enthusiasm is contagious, He looks like he’s enjoying himself.”

Love Island stars Matthew MacNabb and Laura Nolan Lottie also revealed she will be working on a Graffiti Jive to Ed Sheeran’s Overpass painting.

Billy McGuinness and his professional partner Hannah perform Samba to Papa Loves Mambo by Perry Como.

Swimmers Ellen Keane and Stephen Vincent will take on Cha Cha Cha in Shane Codd’s Get Out My Head.

Lottie describes Cha Cha Cha as “the stuff of nightmares” due to the level of difficulty.

Cathy Kelly – who will be performing the Tango with her dance partner Maurizio in Blondie’s Call Me – told Lottie she suffered minor injuries.

She said: “It was very intense and I had a bad back last week doing some twists and turns so we modified it a bit so we didn’t break ourselves completely.”
