Dying Light 2’s first story DLC has been pushed back to September

Techland has announced a delay for the first story DLC dying light 2.

Now slated for September, the studio said it would need more time to give the DLC the “absolute ultimate polish” to meet player expectations.

Over the past few months, the team has focused on adding requested features like New Game + mode, a FOV slider for consoles, and many co-op improvements.

In addition, June will introduce the first game chapter entitled “In the footsteps of a night runner” which is packed with content and events, as well as a photo mode.

As you can see in the updated roadmap, there’s a lot to look forward to. From June to August there will be additional content such as an update to the agent and ranking system, new missions and bounties, rewards and new enemies. Expect pretty much the same from September through November, along with a second DLC chapter and the aforementioned story DLC.

Looking ahead, as part of Techland’s five-year planned support, you can also expect a second story DLC, more weapons, enemies, events, and both paid and free DLC.

Released on February 4th, it was announced back in April that Dying Light 2 had sold 5 million copies in its first month of availability across all platforms.
