Dying Light 2’s latest patch is now available for consoles

As promised, Techland has released the latest patch for the console, and like the PC version, it removes loops, fixes blocks in many missions, and resolves some issues with the safe zone.

It also features fixes for co-op engines, nightrunner, combat improvements, adds new ragdoll behavior, and more.

The update also fixes issues with the Brutality Pack, technical improvements, balance tweaks, improved multiplayer and final boss combat, and UI/user interface improvements.

For Xbox specifically, the patch improves game stability, adds a new Balanced Mode that runs at 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, and adds game modes to Xbox Series S, including Performance Mode that runs at 60 FPS.

From what we can tell, aside from the Xbox-specific notes, the patch is the same across all platforms. That said, you’ll want to go over the notes for your platform of choice. Xbox notes can be found here and PlayStation notes here.

If you’re just getting started or haven’t gotten the hang of it yet, here are 16 things we wish we knew before we started. Dying Light 2’s latest patch is now available for consoles
