Eamonn Holmes has confessed that he enjoyed his busy new role at GB News, after he left ITV’s This Morning.
Ruth Langsford’s husband, who has worked in television for more than 40 years, revealed he feels “wanted” and “appreciated” with the channel, and confessed that he doesn’t miss watching early television. days after doing it too long.
Eamonn, 62, co-hosted the sixth season of This Morning for 15 years with his wife Ruth, 61, before they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on the ITV show last year.
Instead, Ruth and Eamonn were revealed to host the show for six weeks over the summer, which they did in 2021 before Eamonn confirmed he was leaving the show.

He also previously hosted GMTV on this channel and last year he left the ITV family when he announced his move to GB News.
The phone lover recently spoke out about this and took aim at the channel, calling them “sly” for “making it look as if he walked away”.
While he didn’t address the issue during Steph’s Packed Lunch on Tuesday, he did talk about daytime television in general and the shift to breaking news coverage.

Eamonn has hosted news coverage before with Sky News, where he initially worked with Isabel Webster, his current GB News co-host.
When asked if he would miss doing daytime television, after 15 years on This Morning, Eamonn confessed he didn’t and revealed how much he likes his new team.
He said, “Um, no, not at all. I was really excited about the whole breaking news environment and being in. I think GB News the first six, seven weeks, I really had a lot of fun. much is going on between Partygate and the Ukraine situation.
“It just happens all the time, you really don’t have time to stop and think about it.”
Eamonn continued: “Steph is a tremendous privilege to be involved in something that you want to do.
“They say that if you do something you love, you’ll never do it a day in your life and it’s great to be appreciated. It’s nice to be around people who want you there. It’s nice to be there. feel that you are contributing.”

It comes after he beat ITV following his departure, with ITV since responding to the claims.
