Eamonn Holmes reveals he doesn’t miss daytime TV

Eamonn Holmes has made around £1.3m over two years, despite no longer working as a presenter on This Morning.

The Mirror reported in November 2021 that Eamonn would be leaving the ITV daytime program to join GB News.

Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford used to host This Morning every Friday, and will also help Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during the school break.

However, the husband and wife duo has been replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’leary – who are currently showing Friday episodes.

But it doesn’t appear that losing the This Morning gig has too much of an impact on Eamonn’s bank balance as he is believed to have made £1.3m over the past two years.

Loose Women presenter Ruth has nearly doubled her husband’s income directing £3m in the same 24-month period through her engagements with ITV’s Loose Women programme, as well as Langsford Late , Zoo Story and Lose A Stone In Four Weeks for Summer.

Ruth has been working on This Morning since 2000 when she made a guest appearance.

The presenter and TV personality was asked to also work on a host of other shows including TV Travel Shop, Langsford Late, Zoo Story and Lose A Stone In Four Weeks for Summer.
