Talk to Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazinehe said that “nobody explained anything” to him, adding: “They were sly. They didn’t want to announce that I was disqualified because it would adversely affect audience numbers, so so they make it look like I’ve walked away from them rather than going the other way.”
He went on to claim that bosses chatted with his agent and announced that he was going to GB News – even though the channel at the time only asked if he wanted to indulge. .
Eamonn also hit on ITV’s diversity dynamics, branding its former bosses as “hypocrites”.

The presenter asked, “When did they start diversifying with their management? Diversity is only on screens. It’s hypocritical.”
