EastEnders aired a terrifying twist on Thursday night, when Tommy Moon’s bullying ordeal resulted in a sudden stabbing.
The 10-year-old kid took a knife to school because he was afraid the bullies would harm him.
He ended up using it in the latest episode of the BBC in an attempt to ward off his tormentor Sid, and his friend Matty.
The boys had been harassing Tommy for weeks, and things escalated when on their most recent visit to Walford they took a malicious video of Tommy and sent it to him.
The abuse continued at the school when Sid and Matty stole his soccer ball and recorded him getting upset.
When teacher Isaac got involved, Sid was caught and got into trouble which made him angry with Tommy, who did nothing wrong.
Later, Matty tells Tommy that he was only harassed because Sid was jealous of his soccer skills, pretending that he wanted some tips too.
Asking the boy to meet him later in the park, Tommy agrees and trusts that he has finally gotten somewhere with them.
But it was a setup, and the boys were really there to bully him again – record him as they tortured him.
Tommy tries to walk away but when Matty teases him out of fear, Sid starts shoving him and refuses to let him pass.
When Tommy got angry, he pulled the blade out of his pocket and waved it in front of Sid, threatening to use it.
He says, “Back off, I’m not afraid of you anymore,” when Sid asks him what he’ll do next.
Tommy left the knife in his pocket and tried to run away, but Sid became violent and shoved him to the ground as punishment for the incident.
When Tommy threw his bag at Sid to chase him away from him, he accidentally caught him with the blade.
Sid shouts, “You stabbed me” before exclaiming in pain, telling Matty it won’t stop bleeding.
Frightened Tommy screams: “It was an accident”, Matty makes a run and leaves Sid bleeding on the floor.
When Sid cried out, Tommy also fled, leaving him behind, with his fate undisclosed.
Viewers will have to stay tuned on Monday to find out what happens next and if Tommy could be in big trouble.
