EastEnders airs Ash Panesar’s return next week, BBC new soap revealers have confirmed.

The character, played by actress Gurlaine Kaur Garcha, suddenly passed away in January, leaving fans heartbroken.

Gurlaine is only taking a short break, with it being revealed that she will be returning to Walford at some point.

Now, revealers have confirmed Ash will be returning to the show next week – after Gurlaine was recently revealed to be filming again.

Ash left after a major clash with her family, especially her mother Suki Panesar.

The mother and daughter are disappointed by recent events, leading to the sudden passing of the nurse – her family has been devastated.

It looks like she will be happier next week when she returns home, as Ash and Suki are finally making amends and moving forward.

Meanwhile Suki seems to be hiding something in the midst of the happy reunion, as she reads a letter that makes her feel nervous.

She covered up when Dotty Cotton and her son Vinny Panesar arrived, but she soon asked Eve Unwin for legal advice.

Eve has helped the family a few times in recent months, notably when Suki’s son Kheerat faced jail time for assaulting serial killer Gray Atkins.

Suki returns with Eve in the upcoming episodes, but what is she hiding and how will it affect her family?

Back with Ash, and when she returned the following week, Suki was shocked to see her, with her keeping her return private.

The pair catch up and sort out their differences right on Ash’s 30th birthday.

She was also the subject of conversation just before, when Vinny and Dotty discussed her birthday – unaware that she was making a comeback.

After a difficult year for the family, here’s hoping for better times ahead with Ash back on his feet.
