EastEnders’ Charlie Wernham marries girlfriend Emma in stunning Essex ceremony

EastEnders actor Charlie Wernham, best known for playing Aaron Monroe on the BBC soap, beamed in snaps from his stunning wedding as he shared the knowledge with girlfriend Emma in Essex this weekend

EastEnders actor Charlie Wernham is a married man as the soap star was pictured with bride Emma Collis at their stunning wedding.

Charlie, best known for playing Aaron Monroe in Albert Square, married his girlfriend Emma at a ceremony in Essex this weekend.

Bride Emma looked stunning in a fairytale white gown, complete with beaded bodice and flowy skirt.

While beaming groom Charlie looked dapper in a three-piece gray suit with a yellow floral pin to match his wife’s bouquet.

After the service, Emma shared a snap of her new ring, along with a “Newlywed” sticker, on Instagram.

The newlywed told her followers it was “so surreal” as she posted a tearful emoji and a love heart.

Charlie’s soap opera co-star Jessica Ellis was also in attendance and posted a photo of the bride and groom seated at the top table at their reception.

The Hollyoaks actress, who was a guest on the special day, took to Instagram to share some snaps from the reception.

“Well thank you Mr. and Mrs. Wernham for the most amazing day!” she wrote. “We are so honored to have been a part of your special day!”

Two other ex-Hollyoaks stars, real-life couple Daisy Wood-Davis and Luke Jerdy, also paid tribute to the newlyweds.

“Celebrating the happy ending of Mr & Mrs Wernham,” the couple wrote in their joint post.

As well as starring in EastEnders, Charlie also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2008 when he entered as an amateur comedian.

On Saturday, Charlie and Emma said ‘yes, I do’ at Gosfield Hall in Essex.

Charlie popped the question on Valentine’s Day 2021 after the couple had been together for over seven years.

His other TV appearances include EastEnders, Hollyoaks and The InBetweeners.
