EastEnders: Chelsea and Whitney discuss Gray’s plea

EastEnders fans believe they plotted Gray Atkins’ cunning plan to avoid jail after it was reported that he was about to plead guilty.

The Walford villain was arrested for killing his first bride Chantelle, Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi.

BBC viewers watching on Monday were shocked to learn that Gray had decided to admit his crimes, when his second wife Chelsea Fox tipped off the news to Whitney Dean.

She said, “Except that means no trial,” to which Whitney replied, “Can’t we just go to the courthouse and look him in the eye?”

But as fans learned of the news, some took to Twitter to theorize that Gray may have had ulterior motives to plead guilty and may have done so in hopes of a lighter sentence.

One person wrote: “Gray knows how the system works as a former attorney. Confession means less time in jail (and no trial)”

“You can still Whitney, you can always watch him convicted,” another wrote. “By the way, Gray only sincerely confessed to the crime so that he could receive a lighter sentence. He knows what he’s doing.”

A third person asks: “Gray doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would plead guilty?”

Another posted: “Unfortunately we didn’t get to try it out. I enjoyed some explosive court scenes. ”

The EastEnders villain is also set to drop a bomb on Chelsea this week, as she’s considering putting their son up for adoption.

Evicted from Walford and sent to prison, the criminal ravaged the residents of Albert Square.

But there’s more bad news to come next week, when Chelsea receives a heartbreaking letter from Gray in which he refuses to continue paying her mortgage, potentially leaving her in financial straits. bad.

Chelsea made the decision to adopt her child earlier this month, telling Whitney she has decided to take action to make sure nothing bad happens to Jordan again.

Just like Chantelle before it, Chelsea was abused by the Gray Lobster during their marriage.

Gray’s behavior took a turn for the worse when he tried to strangle Chelsea after she recorded him confessing to his crimes.

He also attempted to kidnap Jordan and get his eldest children, Mack and Mia, away from Albert Square in a plot to evade justice.

EastEnders airs on Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
