EastEnders viewers believe a scene from earlier this week could allude to the fate of Gray Atkins on the BBC.
The serial killer’s crimes have finally been exposed, and the people of Walford are out for revenge.
As the walls closed in on Gray, he was desperate to break free and escape justice – but his plans may have been thwarted by his wife Chelsea Fox.
Chelsea managed to get him to confess, while secretly calling the police.
Viewers are currently fearing Chelsea could lose her life as he loses control, but she’s not the only one to confront Gray.

With the residents wanting to take him down, viewers will see Shirley Carter, Whitney Dean, and Karen Taylor all have to confront him.
The episode will see the character face his downfall, but details are being kept under wraps as to how that happens.
Some viewers believe that there may be someone in the cards and that Gray will be killed in a revenge.
But others believe a scene that included Whitney earlier this week could suggest otherwise, and that Gray could live.
Whitney’s words to Shirley to stop her from killing Gray led some fans to think the soap’s boss was listening to viewers, who have long called for Gray to face justice and be arrested for the crime. mine.
The character recounts the moment she stabbed her stalker Leo to death in self-defence in 2020, and reveals while she was relieved he was gone, it looks like he’s gone with what he did .
She said: “You know when I killed Leo at first, I was relieved, but then… he never had to face me in court, he never had to answer about those things. what he did to me.”
She’s encouraging Shirley not to hurt Gray, so the police can catch him and he can explain his crimes – and face the rest of his life in prison.
Now, viewers believe that moment is a hint that Gray won’t be killed by any of the Walford residents, and perhaps he will be arrested.
Some feared he might make a runner or maybe even try to take his life, others believed the sight was a confirmation that Gray wasn’t going to walk away with what he did.

One viewer said on Twitter: “When she said it made me feel like the writers listened and knew how we felt about the situation like what Whitney said is exactly what most of us do. wanted – to have him go to prison for life and not be easily. So I hope that really happens and he goes to prison.”
Another commented: “I keep hoping he doesn’t die and get caught, I keep hearing interviews and reading articles that say the ending is satisfying, and I feel like that’s the best thing there is. maybe a fall from the roof and he’s paralyzed but not killed he could be sent to jail with Lucas.”
The third added: “She also said that she would only feel justice if he had a day in court. I still hope that EE does a good job on this story and that he gets a trial. Nice trial. The last we have is Max.”
