EastEnders ‘Linda Carter’ exit sealed ‘after Janine’s turn – before Mick’s departure

The latest episode of EastEnders sees Janine Butcher in action in an attempt to weed out love rival Linda Carter for the sake of BBC radio

EastEnders fans have seen how ruthless Janine Butcher can be – as if they need a reminder.

Bad guy Walford is back to her old tricks, as she decides to eliminate her love rival Linda Carter once and for all.

Since she started dating Linda’s now estranged husband, Mick Carter, she has been frustrated by their lack of intimacy.

With Linda now back in Walford, she is threatened by their history and fears Mick will leave her for her ex.

So in Tuesday’s BBC episode, Janine commits atrocities in hopes of getting Linda to leave Walford for good.

Linda is heartbroken during the episode, when she confesses her love to Mick in the hopes that they can reconcile.

Mick refuses a reunion, despite their history, he tells her they can’t be together anymore.

Linda is devastated, but Janine believes something is going on between them as her paranoia persists in their encounter.

Even so, Janine was put in her place when Sonia Fowler gave her a reality check on her priorities, especially with everything going on with her daughter Scarlett.

But Janine ignores her pleas, and instead goes back to her plan to get Linda off the road once and for all.

She soon plots her plot and decides to tempt Linda with an offer she may not be able to refuse.

To Linda’s shock, Janine offers her £25,000 to leave Walford and not come back – but will she accept?

It comes ahead of Mick’s departure from Walford, after actor Danny Dyer stepped down from the role earlier this year.

So is it possible that Linda is preparing for an escape of her own and they could leave together, with Janine about to lose him?
