It will soon be like Fast and the Bleedin’ Well Furious on Albert Square.
The new £86.7m EastEnders set gives producers more scope to shoot blockbuster-style scenes like car chases.
The Elstree site has longer stretches which, unlike the old site, are marred by short roads.
So when the new backdrop finally arrives, they are planning to make the most of it.
Describe the EastEnders scenes that were filmed there, executive producer Rona McKendrick “In the fourth episode, there’s a chase scene – to show off as many new areas as possible,” said.

Manager Richard Lynn adds in the new issue of Radio Times: “The chase scenes on the old block will definitely only go in one direction, because there are so many dead ends.
“There is more flexibility now – more places for the good guys to hide and the bad guys to come together.
“I really want to do a foot chase in the alleys or the back garden.”
There will be a hot pursuit when Danny Dyer Will Mick Carter leave at the end of the year? Can Max Branning come back as spectacular as Mad Max?
Get ready for some real fake moves.
