Bali travel restrictions have changed with the latest Covid rules showing quarantines waived for vaccinated travelers from 23 countries including the UK

Bali is easing Covid travel rules for tourists and starting to remove quarantine rules for vaccinated travelers arriving holiday.
Indonesia announced that foreign travelers from 23 countries – including the UK – will no longer be subject to quarantine, as long as they are fully vaccinated against Covid, complete with a booster shot .
Vaccinated Britons traveling to Bali will be able to apply for a visa on arrival in Indonesia and bypass the quarantine. However, they will still need to meet other requirements such as proof of a paid hotel reservation and Covid coverage.
Travelers will also have to take a PCR test upon arrival and self-isolate until a negative result is confirmed, after which they are free to travel. There is also a second test that will be taken on the third day.

The holiday hotspot is currently testing quarantine-free rules and, if successful, could roll it out more widely in April.
Authorities confirmed the news in a press conference to local mediaexplained that Bali would be the first destination in the plan.
Other countries have used similar tentative approaches to welcoming back tourists. For example, Thailand offers ‘sandbox’ programs where vaccinated tourists can travel freely around specific areas, while Vietnam is looking to reopen to visitors. Vaccinated travel three months earlier than planned.
British holiday options have increased in recent weeks, with 12 other countries relax their travel rules. For example, countries such as France, Greece, and Portugal have eliminated the requirement to test for Covid before traveling, while Canada no longer require PCR test from vaccinated Britons if they like antigen testing and Sri Lanka has completely eliminated pre-travel Covid tests.

As for returning to the UK?
The UK travel rules have been relaxed back in February.
Under the changes, people who are fully immunized do not need to be tested for Covid before or after arriving in the UK. For unvaccinated arrivals there are still pre- and post-arrival tests, even though the 10-day self-isolation requirement has ended.
There are hopes that forms of passenger locating may also come to an end in time for Easter.
