Ebay names Siobhán Curtin as new Irish boss

Ebay has announced that Siobhán Curtin, Director of Customer Operations for the UK and Ireland, will take over as the tech giant’s new site manager in Ireland.

The company employs 900 people at its European headquarters in Blanchardstown and across Ireland. Staff levels in Ireland have recently been reduced.

Ms. Curtin has worked at Ebay since 2004 when she started as a Customer Service Representative. The company says it has focused on building a large number of remote workers for Ebay over the past five years.

“Her experience, integrity and motivational qualities are widely recognized across the company and make her an excellent candidate for the position of Website Manager for Ebay Ireland,” said Derek Allgood, Vice President at eBay.

Ms. Curtin is from Kildare but lives in Navan and will be responsible for the cross-functional teams and departments supporting local and global eBay programs. She holds Diplomas and BAs from Ballyfermot College of Further Education and the National College of Ireland. Ebay names Siobhán Curtin as new Irish boss
