ECB’s Christine Lagarde tests positive for COVID-19 – POLITICO

FRANKFURT – The President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, has tested positive for COVID-19 called in a tweet on Thursday.

“This morning I tested positive for COVID-19. I am vaccinated and refreshed and fortunately my symptoms are reasonably mild. I will be working from home in Frankfurt until I fully recover,” the tweet said. “There is no impact on the operations of the ECB.”
