Mikel Arteta on the reason behind Arsenal’s stellar form

Eden Hazard has previously admitted he has feelings for Arsenal because Mikel Arteta’s people are reported to be targeting the blunder Real Madrid Man.

The Belgian is expected to leave the Bernabeu in the summer after several years of struggling with the Spanish giants. Hazard leaves Chelsea in the summer of 2019 to join Madrid but he looks like a shadow of the player he was at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is considered by many to be the best player outside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at one point and rumors he was about to leave the Spanish capital made many clubs wary of his situation. Of course, before that he was linked with a move back to Chelsea in January and last summer, but nothing happened.

And a reunion is extremely unlikely for sanctions have been placed on Chelsea, on the basis of the association of the owner Roman Abramovich with Vladimir Putin. The Blues are currently unable to sign any players or offer new contracts while restrictions are in place.

However, Arsenal have emerged as a surprise candidate, according to Foot Mercato. It is confirmed that the Gunners have start contact first with Real Madrid over the prospect of signing the former Chelsea star.

The report says that Arteta is said to be keen to add Hazard to his ranks as he continues to turn his ever-improving side into title contenders. The Gunners are gearing up for another busy summer transfer window after spending almost £150m last year.

It remains to be seen if Hazard will join city rivals Chelsea given his ties to Thomas Tuchel’s side, but the striker has admitted that he watched Arsenal regularly growing up with the team. Their France team in the early 2000s was led by Thierry Henry. Hazard admits it is “difficult” to speak positively about Chelsea’s rivals, proving that his loyalty to the Blues is still there.

Is Eden Hazard a good Arsenal signing? Comment below

Speaking to On The Front Foot Magazine in February 2021, he said: “When I was a kid, the team that I watched the most was the French national team. For me, the players that I admire the most. are Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry.

“It’s hard for me to admit because of my relationship with Chelsea, but I really liked Arsenal at the time. They had players like Robert Pires, [Sylvain] Wiltord, and [Patrick] Vieira, so I watched growing up mostly French players. “

Hazard is adamant he will fight for his place under Carlo Ancelotti at the start of the season. He also said he would back to the UK is “out of the question”, but that stance seems to have changed after another dismal year for Madrid.

He said on May 26, 2020: “I still have a three-year contract with Real Madrid, so a return to England is out of the question. Everyone knows that my first two years were not good, so first I want to prove myself at Real Madrid I will do everything to do it.

“I certainly don’t see myself leaving Madrid, because of the contract situation. I know myself and I know when I’m in good form. If that’s the case, I can give my all for Real next season. That’s my plan.”
