“As brown and Asian, I think we’ve got a checklist of this kind that’s not really ours but our parents’,” he said. The first thing is to go to school and get some kind of education.

“That [settling down] is the last draw at the moment. I’m currently in hiding because it seems like all the aunts and uncles are basically trying to get me to hitchhike.

“MotherMom got a lot of calls because they wereknow that I graduated. I’m using uni as an excuse, so I’m hiding for now. Hopefully, I can lay low for a few more years.”

Mushy isn’t too worried about finding love, as he’s still on the cusp of graduating from college – something he never thought he’d be able to do.

“I really never thought I would get into university. Even the thought of being unified in the first place is something I never really thought about,” he added, “it just goes to show that if you really put your mind to it, you really can.” anything can be achieved. “

The TV star also said he was worried he wouldn’t be “fit” when he started college, but his fears were soon quelled and he now claims he’s had a ” wonderful” in the learning process.

And even though he’s proud of himself for graduating, he’s incredibly humbled – and quick to commend all of his high school teachers for the support they’ve given him during his career. the years.

He say: “Without the support I get from every teacher, it would be extremely difficult for me to try to think about how I would get through or how I would actually try and talk.

“I think there was support that I did at school – there were people who helped me, there were teachers who pushed me through the kind of comfort zone I had that was huge.

“I won’t be where I am [without my teachers]. Teachers can truly change a young person’s life in ways they never thought they could. ”

The whole country has followed Mushy’s journey on Yorkshire Education, so it’s no surprise that when he arrives at university and meets new people, they immediately know who he is – especially when he used as a case study in one of his lectures.

“I had this one module and it was really based on Yorkshire Education, which was pretty crazy,” he recalls.

“One of my instructors at the school mentioned quite a few documentaries that he enjoyed watching, and I was sitting in the back, and he was talking about how this kid overcame his stutter. by wearing headphones in this TV show.

“I was literally right behind, and everyone turned to look at me. It was a very surreal moment.”

If he’s being honest, though, there’s only one regret Musharaf has when it comes to the show that started it all.

“I’m pretty annoyed with the clip,” he joked, “I say it’s not bad, but it annoys me because if only I had cut my hair! It’s something I never thought about as a kid, but it’s true! amazing as in the clip, I just wish I could cut my hair”.
