Eighth celebrity dropped from Strict Come Dancing after Blackpool special

Tyler West said his experience on Strictly Come Dancing has given him confidence and a “newfound family” as he becomes the eighth contestant to leave the show after a weekend play at Blackpool.

Chief judge Shirley Ballas had the deciding vote, noting that “it was probably one of the hardest dance moves we’ve ever had to choose”.

“But, more importantly, this show changed my life in the sense that it gave me confidence, a new family, every dancer, everyone in the hair and makeup, the costumes. .
