Elden Ring released patch 1.02 that addresses a number of factors, such as controls and framerate drops – and Bandai Namco says you should update before playing the game.
Published in a news posts, Patch 1.02 is coming soon for the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game, there is no word on PC equivalent yet. The patch is mainly used “to improve gameplay stability.”

- Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions
- Fixed text errors in some languages
- Fixed a bug that prevented Xbox wireless headsets from working properly
Bandai Namco is keen to say that this patch should be installed before playing the game, asking players to check for updates manually before starting. The publisher also said that it will apply the patch to the Digital Art Book & Soundtrack included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
