Elden Ring fans discover secret wall that only opens after 50 hits

Elden Ring players have known for a long time that there are sometimes hidden walls in the game that lead to new areas. However, a new discovery leads to an absurd length. A player discovered a wall in Volcano Manor that only disappears after hitting it 50 times.
Over on Reddit, user teristam came across what appeared to be an unremarkable wall in Volcano Manor. However, he soon found that if the wall is hit 50 times, the wall will disappear, revealing a room. This room belongs to Rya and Knight Bernhal, which is usually easily accessible by simply finding its regular entrance.
Apparently some fake walls in Elden Ring take multiple hits to reveal them and oh my god that changes everything

Polygon confirmed that the walls in Volcano Manor do not behave like the other breakable walls in the game. There is usually an audible cue that plays whenever such a wall breaks, but in the case of Volcano Manor it wasn’t activated.
Additionally, these walls will reappear if players choose to rest in a Place of Grace. The reason for this particular wall is unknown but it may have been placed there to separate it from the hallway leading upstairs as it contains monsters and fighting is forbidden in the room itself.
This new discovery implies that there could be other areas in the game with such walls besides the traditional illusory wall mechanic already in play. So players will now spread out across the Lands Between again to see if that’s actually the case.
FromSoftware released a new patch for Elden Ring yesterday that fixes some issues with the game, adds quest stages, and drops a new NPC. It also nerfed and polished certain weapons and abilities.
