Elderly man punched in the face in Bognor

Police are asking for tips after an elderly man was punched in the face.

The attack happened as the man was walking back to his car with a friend in London Road, Bognor, on Saturday 20 August.

They were then approached by another man near the Glamis Street junction.

It is then claimed that without provocation the man was hit in the face causing him to fall to the ground and sustain facial injuries.

The attacker is said to have continued walking in the direction of the city center. He is described as having a shaved head and wearing no shirt and black shorts.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. this afternoon.
