Tickets for this year’s Electric Picnic sold out in just 30 minutes as the event returned for the first time in two years.
The highly anticipated tickets went on sale at 9am today to the delight of music fans.
Ireland’s biggest music festival will return to Stradbally, Co Laois, for the first time since 2019 and will see popular artists like the Arctic Monkeys and Dermot Kennedy take the main stage.
This year’s festival will also see some exciting new additions like the Fish Quarter and Mind and Body, and a fully programmed Theater stage.
Organizers yesterday revealed the festival’s lineup, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, Picture This and Snow Patrol.
Other big shows over the weekend will include Anne-Marie, Fontaines DC, Glass Animals, London Grammar, The Kooks and Wolf Alice.
Electric Picnic will take place September 2 to 4, with more than 70,000 people in attendance.
Across the 600-acre wooded site, organizers increased the main stage’s capacity by reconfiguring the stage’s position within the newly created larger arena. The entrance to the Jimi Hendrix arena has also doubled in size.
