Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly giving out millions of dollars in bonuses to employees of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The popular talk show has been going on since 2003 and is scheduled to end in May with the final episode to air on May 26.
And it was reported that Ellen, 64, wanted to make sure that all workers on the program were “taken care of”.
A source told New York Post : “Ellen and [production company] Warner Bros. worked together to make sure everyone was taken care of.
“Ellen paying the bonus isn’t even a question… It’s very important to her.”
While the exact number has not been released, the source claims that Ellen has been “extremely generous” throughout her time on the show despite accusations of a toxic culture.
Two years ago, the star was rocked by the statements and also issued an online apology after some former employees protested the way they were treated on the show.
It is reported that Ellen gifted her staff during the show’s final series – the 18th series – with gifts that included travel, watches, and cars.
Deadline reports, as well as the gifts, Warner Bros. disclosed plans to expand employees’ health care coverage for up to six months after the plan ends.
In an effort to further aid job prospects, the program’s creators have also set up resume and networking workshops for all employees.
The show’s final series is set to welcome a host of A-list stars, such as Michelle Obama and Channing Tatum to appear.
Other stars including Serena Williams, Zac Efron and Adam Levine also sat on the sofa to chat.
Last month, Ellen accidentally revealed that another Kardashian was pregnant during her interview with close friend Kris Jenner.
It follows the birth of Kylie Jenner’s new son, Wolf, on February 2.
Kris revealed that she once gave birth to her own grandson, branding it “awesome” and said she was shocked at how much he looked like her sister Stormi.
When Ellen asked who would be the next to give birth to a grandchild, Kris replied, “I think it would be great if it was Kendall, wouldn’t it? She’s the only one who hasn’t had a child.”
Ellen went on to suggest that one of Kris’ other children was pregnant as she said, “I don’t think she’s going to be the 12th.”
