The Ellen DeGeneres Show has come to an end after 19 seasons, and Ellen features a host of big-name guests, including Friends star Jennifer Anniston.

The tearful Ellen DeGeneres ended her hit series after 19 seasons and received a standing ovation for doing so.

The talk show host, 64, announced the current season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be her final season last year and the final episode will air today.

In a new preview clip, the comedian is seen emerging from behind the screen to cheer for an audience member and she is clearly emotional as she tries to hold back her tears.

Her wife Portia de Rossi and brother Vance DeGeneres were both in the front row for the last time to take part in the show.

Placing her hand over her heart, Ellen said “thank you” with tears in her eyes while Portia also watched with emotion.

The full edition featured many big-name guests, including Jennifer Aniston, P! Nk and Billie Eilish.

Jennifer’s appearance is a fitting tribute after the Friends actress was the first guest on the show’s premiere in 2003.

The finale marked Jennifer’s 20th appearance on set.

When the show ended, the host talked to a bunch of big names in the showbiz world for the last few episodes.

Over the past few weeks, she’s chatted with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, and Bruno Mars.

During the time Baywatch actor Zac sat in the white chair earlier this month, he revealed that he didn’t really feel ready for parenthood after his first on-screen role as a father. .

The Hollywood star started the interview by telling Ellen about her experience working with an on-screen young daughter – played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

“I don’t think about it that much,” he said. “And then when we started filming the movie, I was quarantined for two weeks… and when I got out of the quarantine, we started shooting that Monday, so it was a pretty intro. fast for the movie, and all of a sudden, I had this daughter in front of me.

“We had a pretty heavy father-daughter scene right off the bat, and I realized that I was well prepared for this part. I didn’t know what I was doing.”

When asked by Ellen if the role made him want to have children of his own, he paused, before confessing: “I think it’s a healthy dose for me to pause that job for as long as necessary. I there’s a little more that’s probably growing for what. I don’t know. Not yet.”
