Depp’s attorney Camille Vasquez, during cross-examination, accused Heard of asking Musk to pay part of what she had promised to the two charities because she wanted to keep part of the deal to herself.

Heard replied: “You are very wrong about that.”

She previously said that Musk’s donations were not part of her pledge.

Ahead of the cross-examination, a spokesperson for Heard said the facts were “not on Depp’s side”.

On the second day of Heard’s testimony, Depp’s team released a statement of their own, accusing Heard of performing “the performance of her life”.
