Elon Musk reveals he has SECRET ‘cheesy’ Instagram account – and responds to theories surrounding second Twitter

ELON Musk has revealed that he has a secret Instagram account.

In a tweet Monday, the billionaire Tesla CEO said he uses the hidden profile to view links sent to him by his buddies.

Musk also shared that he doesn’t have a second “Brenner” account on Twitter.

Burner accounts are social media profiles set up in secret by people so they can post anonymously.

Musk’s tweet was in response to Pranay Pathole, an Indian software developer the mogul regularly interacts with on the platform.

Pathole is a Musk fanboy and regularly posts about him, leading to tongue-in-cheek claims that Musk is running his account.

The developer, who has 160,000 Twitter followers, joked that the richest man in the world actually runs his profile.

“It’s TRUE,” said Pathole. “He’s a super busy guy … and somehow he finds time to run multiple Twitter accounts.”

Musk replied, “Haha I don’t even have a Burner Twitter account! I have a cheesy, secret Instagram account so I can click links friends send me.”

Unsurprisingly, the SpaceX boss didn’t reveal any details about his personal Instagram account.

Musk’s only public social media presence is his Twitter account, which has more than 94 million followers at the time of writing.

The mogul Tesla and SpaceX companies are active on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and more.

Musk struck up an online friendship with Pathole in 2018 after the techie influencer asked a question about Tesla’s wipers.

The duo regularly joke on the app about everything from Tesla’s presence in India to Musk’s $44 billion takeover of Twitter.

It’s been a busy few weeks for the richest man in the world.

It emerged last Friday that a SpaceX flight attendant had accused Musk of embarrassing herself and asking for sex in 2016.

The companion was reportedly a member of the cabin crew of SpaceX’s corporate jet fleet when the alleged misconduct occurred.

SpaceX reportedly paid the employee $250,000 as part of a separation agreement in 2018. Musk denies the allegations.

Elsewhere, the mogul wrestles with Twitter over his hostile takeover of the company.

Musk has said the deal won’t go through until Twitter verifies the percentage of its users who are automated bots.

Twitter has announced that it will enforce the purchase anyway.
