Elton John looked frail as he arrived at Leipzig Airport in a wheelchair on Friday as he returned home to Nice from his show.
The singer, 75, sparked anxiety from fans when he was pushed into the terminal by one of his group, before his flight.
It comes just days before Elton is scheduled to take the stage with the Queen and Diana Ross for the Queen’s Platinum concert on Saturday.
Elton donned a blue Gucci tracksuit and black mask as he stepped out of his car and into a seat to join his entourage into the airport.
Despite being 75 years old, the Rocketman puncher shows no signs of slowing down over the next few months as he’s not only performing for Her Majesty’s Jubilee but will continue touring into June.

The day included performances for his Farewell tour in Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and France.
Elton was pictured years ago in a wheelchair.
Back in 2019, the music legend revealed he was in a wheelchair after spraining his ankle.
He told fans at the time while visiting the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy: “Even a sprained ankle couldn’t stop me from seeing one of the most beautiful museums in the world. “

And while Elton has a busy month ahead, he has previously talked about his hopes of slowing down to spend more time with his family.
In 2018, Elton announced that he was ready to say goodbye to the tour because he had ‘more than enough’.
He said on This Morning: “I’m looking forward to saying goodbye. It’s not a publicity stunt because I’m saying goodbye to the tour, I’ve had enough.”

He continued: “Honestly to you, I want to go ahead and do things differently.”
Speaking of his sons Elijah and Zachary, Elton said: “They’re thriving, they’re amazing kids. They’re hilarious, they keep us entertained.
“That’s why I’m hitting the road again after a world tour – I need to be there for them. I need to spend time with them. I miss them so much when I’m not with them.”
