Elton John wows the New York crowd after his plane crashes at 10,000ft

Elton John gave a tribute to his fans at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday after a terrifying moment that saw his private jet need to make an emergency landing.

Elton John was back on stage in New York just hours after it was reported that his private plane had crashed en route to the Big Apple.
The veteran performer, 74, appeared to have not let the horrific incident affect his stage presence as fans took to social media to praise the performance.
As part of his Yellow Brick Road farewell tour, the Rocket Man singer entertained thousands of people present at Madison Square Garden.
Fans were quick to praise his performance on social media, with Governor Christie of New Jersey commenting Twitter said: “Had a wonderful night watching the Elton John Farewell Yellowbrick Road concert at Madison Square Garden with MP and Sarah. A great performer on his last circuit tour.
Another fan agreed, simply writing: “Elton at MSG. Amazing. @Eltonofficial @TheGarden.”

“Last performer. Thank you, Mr. @eltonofficial,” wrote a third.
Earlier that day, the singer let fans know he was safe in the Big Apple as he posted snaps from the city along with the caption, “Hello New York! See you soon @TheGarden tonight.”
And one fan who appeared to have attended, replied after the show, “Love you guys. Thank you” along with a rocket emoji.
