ElyonThe latest update of is heavily tied to class balance changes after recent server merges and additions to RvR. Kakao Games has also announced that support for Spanish language localization and services will end next month.
The latest round of updates ends several events that followed recent server mergers. It also opens up the possibility of redistributing clan funds after the two-week hiatus following the mergers. The Rapid Growth event and the use of the Clan Coin Shop have ended.
The majority of the update is class balance changes, and this follows recent changes in adding RvR events, quests, and finding that sweet spot between competition and rewards. Five classes have received balance changes, the Hunter, Archer, Elementalist, Assassin, and Archer. Since the Slayer is a recently added class, it makes sense that there will be some adjustments after the first month players have been playing Slayer. Overall, most of the changes seem to make these five classes slightly stronger and more resilient while making them more viable overall.
Another announcement, consistent with the decision to merge servers and further integrate the player base, is the upcoming end of all Spanish language support. As of April 6th, support for localization and translation, including for the website, and customer support will end.
Kakao’s announcement reiterated that Spanish support is among the four languages Elyon has been available in since closed beta – English, German, French and Spanish – but their data shows that usage of the Spanish editions is “consistently low “ was. and so they decided to close it and place the resources elsewhere.
