A car crashed into a village shop and emergency services were called to the scene this afternoon.
The Co-operative Food store on Ferring Road, Ferring, was locked down after a car crashed into the front of the supermarket just after midday.

“All of our colleagues are safe and unharmed.”
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Services said: “At 12.06 this afternoon we were called to reports of a road traffic accident in Ferring Street, Ferring.
“The joint fire control mobilized a fire engine from Littlehampton to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the crew found a vehicle that had collided with property. Fortunately, no one was trapped and the fire brigade secured the scene of the accident.
“The crew left the scene at 12:35 p.m.”
