Emergency services were called to the Polegate fire
After reports of a fire in a residential street, emergency services were called to the scene.
Three fire engines, along with an ambulance crew and police were sighted at Walnut Walk in Polegate last night to deal with the incident.
Several firefighters were seen on the street outside an address along with some local residents.
Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire Brigade have been asked for comment.
