EMILY Atack shared a heartwarming photo with her beautiful father Keith on Instagram yesterday.
The 32-year-old looked great in the shot as her hair fell to her shoulders in a wavy style and she wore an oversized gray scarf.
Emily and her filmmaker father showed off the family resemblance with blue eyes and blonde hair as they posed for selfies together.
Captioning the photo she shared for her Story, she wrote: “A few days with dad Keith.”
Emily’s father was a member of the pop group Child in the 1970s, but he also composed and created the music for the 2003 film 16 Years of Alcohol.
He is no longer with her mother Kate Robbins – who rose to fame in the 1980s as a singer and now an actress.
Most recently, Netflix viewers were left stunned to learn that Emily’s mother played Penny Spencer Wright, an author and mediator, in the comedy series After Life.
Emily, who is recently moving house due to privacy issuesshared a snap of her mom character and another of herself with show creator Ricky Gervais.
Writing next to the photos, Emily wrote: “Pride isn’t even a word.
“My mom played Penny Spencer Wright in Afterlife, reminding everyone that she was an absolute comedy legend.
“I remember the first time I saw her on stage in Edinburgh when I was about nine years old, and someone came up to me and said ‘your mother is a hell woman!’ – I really don’t know what that means, now I do @katerobbins “.
Responding to gratitude on social networks, Kate thanked her daughter and wrote: “Oh. Thank you, dear daughter.
“I love you so much. (But all three of my children know how much I love them)”.
Emily’s followers were left stunned as they flooded her post sharing their surprise that the lead actress was her mother, who has also appeared on EastEnders and Phoenix Nights.
One said: “I know I recognized her” with a smiling face emoji.
“Thought I recognized her,” another shared. “Absolutely brilliant and x-actress”.
A third wrote: “Never even knew she was your mother. Learned something new today. Everything has to run in the family.”
“Ahh, it’s annoying when I know her face,” one fan commented.
Emily’s mother Kate rose to prominence in the 1980s as a singer and hit number two on the UK charts with the song More Than In Love.
At the time, she was also starring in the soap opera Crossroad.
However, she is primarily known for her long stint on the political satire show Spitting Image, which focused on parodying major characters in the 1980s.
She voices the Queen, Princess Diana, Emma Thompson, and even Kylie Minogue, plus many others.
Behind the scenes, Robbins wrote the first theme tune for the television series Surprise, Surprise and has also appeared in several television shows including the comedy Dinnerladies, Citizen Khan and Holby City.
