Emma Raducanu was forced to miss the first round of the Guadalajara Open after a tense battle with Daria Saville.
The US Open the champion, who also struggled with her condition during her second match at the Australian Open because of the blistering that contributed to her departure from Melbourne last month, has been convalescing in Mexico before withdrawing in the final set.

Raducanu has only played 11 level tournaments since turning pro last year but has suffered a series of physical problems that have forced her out of four tournaments.
