Damn, being brutally beaten by his girlfriend Liv Flaherty, Vinny Dingle rushed to her bedside.
But some eagle-eyed audiences were too distracted from the film when they noticed a major flaw in last night’s Emmerdale section.
In scenes that aired on Monday, it was revealed that Liv (Isobel Steele) was brutally beaten when fellow inmate Mel targeted her.
Liv asked Mel to offer her some alcohol, but then she refused, urging her to “relax”.
When Liv snapped, Mel angrily closed the cell door ominously and declared “someone needs to learn manners.”
A final scene shows Liv lying covered in blood and unconscious on the floor before the character is taken to the hospital.
Understandably the anxiety of events, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) visited his girlfriend on last night’s episode.

Vinny was met by two police officers outside Liv’s room while she was still in police custody, who believed she was responsible. Ben Tucker’s Murder.
“Vinny Dingle, I should be on the visitation list. I’ve talked to the people in prison,” Vinny told the guards upon arrival.
But when he was allowed into his room without the police checking his identification, Emmerdale fans went wild on social media after realizing the mistake.
“Vinny caused a storm when he announced ‘he should be on the check list when talking to people in prison’. No name asked. He just walked into the room. Not wearing a mask as usual,” one angry viewers wrote.
The second is bothered by Vinny not wearing a mask even though he’s in the hospital: “How the hell can Vinny march through the hospital without a mask?”
Last night, Vinny tried to lift Liv’s spirits but she couldn’t do anything.
Liv has been struggling for the past few months after being falsely accused of murder and is now looking for a way out.
She hopes that Meena Jutla – Ben’s real killer – confessing her crimes to Vinny and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) will be her immunity card, but the police are still asking for more evidence, causing her to become guilty. Liv is disappointed.
Vinny went above and beyond to prove her innocence.
“I beg you to stop thinking like that,” he told her in last night’s episode.
“You think I want this? Everything rest in peace on a comatose victim. Manpreet was flat once. “
Liv replied, adding: “You’re making it worse. Just go or I’ll call security, tell them you harassed me.”
And while Vinny was still helping her from outside the prison, Liv was lost the support of his half brother Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), who left Dales after confessing, he finds it hard to believe her innocence.
Aaron conducts an investigation around Ben’s death as the two men share a relationship.
