Emmerdale fans fear Meena will manipulate Charles as he makes a drastic turn

Wednesday’s episode of Emmerdale ends with vicar Charles Anderson calling the prison and making arrangements to visit serial killer Meena Jutla, but her sister Manpreet won’t be happy about that.

Emmerdale fans fear Meena will manipulate Charles

Emmerdale fans worry that Meena Jutla will end up manipulating Charles Anderson to get out of prison.

The evil nurse was eventually charged with a number of murders, including that of Ben Tucker and Leanna Cavanagh, but she certainly won’t come down easily.

Deciding to change tactics, Meena is seen phoning Charles from prison in Tuesday’s episode – and on Wednesday, Manpreet confirmed to him that Meena had not been released on bail.

During their conversation, Charles asked Manpreet: “Do you feel there is no hope for her?”

Meena’s sister replied, “You know I’m not Charles. How about you?” to which Charles replied, “Honestly, I don’t know.”

Later, in conversation with Rhona, Charles again hinted that he might be softened when it comes to serial killer Meena.

When asked how she was doing after Pierce Harris’ death, Rhona told Charles, “I hope he rots in hell,” before quickly adding: “Sorry, I probably shouldn’t. say that.”

Charles told her: “I understand. Honestly, I’m having conflicting thoughts myself at the moment…”

“I’m so sorry Charles, how are you?” Rhona then asked when Charles admitted, “I’m praying a lot.”

And later that evening, Charles called the prison and made an appointment to visit Meena the next day.

Viewers were unimpressed with the vicar’s decision and took to Twitter to comment.

“Charles is going to visit Meena. OMG Charles, what are you doing. #Emmerdale,” one person posted.

Another tweeted: “Pay attention to Charles whatever is happening to you #Emmerdale.”

A third predicted: “It will all end in tears Vicar. #Emmerdale. You are an absolute tool Charles. @Emmerdale.”

And another viewer asked: “Why when Charles’ ex-wife arrives he can’t forgive her for abandoning him and his son but can he forgive a psychopath? #Emmerdale .”
