Emmerdale fans ‘solve’ Faith Dingle’s secret – as Cain and Al ‘brothers’ in DNA twist

Emmerdale viewers are speculating Faith Dingle could be Al Chapman’s real mother, ahead of the change with Cain Dingle on the ITV soap

Emmerdale owners recently confirmed Faith Dingle is keeping it a secret and this will be announced on ITV this past week.

Whatever it is, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has teased that it will heavily affect her children Chas and Cain in future shoots.

It’s also been confirmed that Cain will take center stage in a separate storyline this big week, alongside his nemesis Al Chapman.

Bosses have teased something big is happening with life online, and that the two men could see their relationship change after that.

Now, viewers are questioning whether the two storylines are linked and maybe a bombshell secret will be exposed.

Fans took to social media after recalling Al’s backstory, and questioned whether Al was secretly Faith’s son, and Cain and Chas’ biological brother.

This will of course change their relationship, and will be a major turning point that changes the village forever.

Emmerdale is keeping quiet about what happened between Cain and Al, and what happens to Faith, until scenes are aired next month.

But this hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that they’ve been suspended, and that Al is secretly Faith’s son – amid his long-standing feud with Dingles.

On social media, one fan posted: “Cain and Al’s secret brothers wow Cain and Abal’s biblical references match. Cain can be seen hating Faith but Al loves her for rubs. calm Cain if this is true.”

Another said: “I think [Faith’s] The secret is that Al is her son, who she adopted before she married Shadrach and that he and Cain are half-brothers.

“Remember when Al first arrived, he said he was adopted but was never happy and always felt unloved.”

The comment made others love the idea, with one tweeting: “That also means Chas and Al are half-siblings too!” as another fan wrote: “Yes, and he had an incestuous affair with his niece Debbie and almost with Chas.”

Producer Laura recently revealed both plots to The Mirror and other press, revealing: “We’ll see Cain and Al’s rivalry resurface and I can promise you it will. There’s a big turning point in that particular week, and lives will certainly be in jeopardy.”

She later added: “We know that these two have a smoldering rivalry that’s been building for months now, so we think it’s going to explode when these two go head-to-head again.

“Will you both leave within the week unscathed or will something big happen that will change the dynamics between the two of you forever?”

On Faith, she said: “Faith [has a] big, huge and shocking secret. It’s revealed to Moira – she’s the one she shares it with. There were some really touching scenes this week with Moira and Faith.

“We’ll see some things going on with Faith that she’s keeping a secret, but why?”

Laura Shaw teases that it will hit her children Chas and Cain heavily

Cain and Al’s feud begins when Al is revealed to have raised his two-year-old daughter Debbie, while also seducing her mother, Charity.

After this incident, he attempted to destroy Marlon and Chas at the tavern, which backfired, and his constant entanglement with Cain resulted in danger and drama.

Viewers will have to tune in to ITV to find out what’s going to happen and what that means for our favorite villagers.
