Emmerdale fans stone ‘hypocrisy’ Cain for criticizing Nate and Chloe romance

Cain Dingle warned his son Nate Robinson to pursue a romance with Chloe Harris, but Emmerdale viewers were quick to remind him of his affair with 15-year-old Ollie Reynolds.

Emmerdale: Cain Dingle criticizes Nate’s romance with Chloe

Emmerdale fans were unimpressed with Cain Dingle as they watched Friday’s episode.

The latest season of the ITV drama features Cain berating his son Nate Robinson for being interested in Chloe Harris.

The pair have been texting each other recently and were supposed to see each other, but Nate expressed concern over the fact that Chloe is 19 years old.

Cain definitely had a problem with it and told Nate not to pursue a romance with the redhead at all.

“So it’s true, you’re playing with the schoolgirls?” Cain said, when Nate replied, “First of all, she’s 19.”

Cain later commented, “Defensively, can’t think of why,” when Nate countered: “Second, give some of the things I’ve heard about you….”

Cain quickly interrupted and told him, “Don’t do this about me. What do you think Tracy’s going to think when you have Frankie on the weekend and you’re hanging out at the bus stops with the teenagers?”

But Emmerdale viewers also quickly remembered that Cain could hardly talk because he was having sex with a woman much younger than Chloe.

Back in 2001, Cain was determined to get revenge on his ex Angie, who broke up their relationship, and targeted her daughter Ollie.

Groom Cain is not only inferior to Ollie and sleeps with her – he even phoned Angie before doing so during the disturbing scenes.

On Twitter, one person said: “Remember you’re a hypocrite. Ollie Reynolds rings the bell! #Emmerdale.”

Another said: “Cain will know all about hanging out with schoolgirls. Hypocrite #Emmerdale.”

A third person tweeted: “Cain to nate ‘what are you doing with the kids at school?” Short-term memory? #Emmerdale. “

Another viewer said: “#emmerdale Oh yeah, that’s a good point! – Ollie was 15 when Cain slept with her to get to her mother, Angie. The one in the greenhouse, Cain!”

Another added: “Cain is talking to Nate hanging around with the kids at school. Black mate of the kettle. #Emmerdale.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
