Emmerdale fans ‘uncover’ Leyla and Suzy’s epic secret and it could get Liam hooked

Emmerdale: Leyla confronts Suzy for a surprise appearance

Emmerdale fans went wild trying to guess what Leyla Harding’s big secret might be.

Popular character Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) is set for a shocking secret to be revealed that will see a “huge split for Liam and Jacob”.

Speaking to the press recently, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased “Leyla’s is about to have a very big story where a shocking secret is revealed and this will have a huge impact on Liam and Jacob in particular.

“And some of our most beloved couples will have stories where we’ll see how they overcome their problems as strong family units.”

After watching Friday night’s episode of Emmerdale, viewers began to speculate about what Leyla’s big secret might be following the appearance of Suzy Merton.

One suggested on Twitter: “Professional scammers – Suzy and Leyla?”

In response to this, another viewer tweeted: “Suzy suggests she and Leyla do business together. Maybe @VanityPending’s theory that they are women can grow #Emmerdale legs.”

It comes after Leyla clashed with Suzy on Thursday night’s episode when she urged her to leave and never return – fearing she would reveal her secret in the village.

Despite Suzy’s reassurance that this wouldn’t happen, Leyla seemed unconvinced as they discussed how they knew each other.

It’s clear that the two are keeping it a secret how exactly they know each other, with Suzy revealing they’ve been friends for years – while Leyla’s reaction suggests there’s more to it.
