Emmerdale hit by Ofcom complaints from angry fans about serial killer Meena’s bloody attacks

EMMERDALE continues to come under fire for the brutal murders of serial killer Meena Jutla.
The country soap upset some viewers with the plot, which saw the evil nurse wipe out the cast’s mob.
Television watchdog Ofcom said it received 65 complaints in just the January 12 episode.
It shows what Meena intends kill Manpreet Sharma and Vinny Dingle both at the same time by aerating them in the barn – after a cold speech.
Leaning on her older sister, Meena said: “When we were kids, what did you always tell me?
“Be courageous. No matter how much your dad hits you, never act weak or let him see you scared.
“Now you will have to be braver than ever. Goodbye Manpreet – it was a blast, wasn’t it? I love you. Hope to see you again sometime on the other side. ”
However, she then decided to kill elsewhere, going back to the barn and telling them they had earned an extra hour of life.
Ofcom said the January 12 complaints relate to an “ongoing storyline involving serial killer Meena Jutla”.
Last week, the television watchdog revealed 156 objections to Paige Sandhu’s murderous character were recorded in just two days.
Meena’s rampage and so far have ended the lives of 4 characters, including Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.
