Emmerdale fans pointed out some mistakes when Meena’s case went to trial this week.

The serial killer finally got her day in court, as she made a series of allegations about Ben Tucker trying to kill her before she hit him in the head with a paddle “in self-defense” while she also claimed Dr. Liam Cavanagh’s father did not stop pursuing. she and them had an affair and not long after she became pregnant with Liam or Billy Fletcher’s child, but she died.

Holding on to tears, she made some bold claims – all of which viewers know are completely untrue, but as Meena stood in the stands today, fans couldn’t does not indicate a string of blunders in court scenes.

Many witnesses are absent

Viewers could not help but go nuts when the trial ended without news from a number of key witnesses including Vinny Dingle, Billy and Dawn Fletcher and even Charles Anderson and Leyla Cavanagh – who were present in court.

Vinny is taken hostage by Meena at the same time as Manpreet, while the killer targets Billy and Dawn on their wedding day, the same day she shoots Leyla and leaves her to die. So fans were confused that none of them showed up at the trial, and neither the defense nor the prosecution were questioned about what they saw.

“Why are only Manpreet & Liam called as prosecution witnesses? What about the others? Dawn, Billy, Harriet, Priya and even Vinny? He was held hostage/drugged for many day not just Manpreet,” one angry fan wrote online.

Another added: “How the hell Vinny wasn’t there. He could talk about being held hostage. It was a farce, the whole thing. It performed pathetically. How can she not commit a crime shooting Leyla etc makes me sick, this is la la land, not Emmerdale.”

The police even went missing from court, as a third person wrote: “A lot of the witnesses weren’t interviewed in court… what about DS who interviewed Meena? @emmerdale. ”

Lack of physical evidence

Viewers will remember that Ben was dead after finding a video clip of Meena trying to drown Victoria Sugden, but fans have questioned why that wasn’t shown during the trial.

Others wonder why DNA is not used and how the jewelry box is not explored in detail, only the box is mentioned and Meena gives a brief explanation as to why she property of the victim.

“Certainly the fact that there is an actual video of meena drowning Victoria, as well as medical evidence that the meena never suffered a miscarriage after the fire was due to something,” one viewer wrote, like another added: “Not even a single mention of Meena’s precious treasure box but when the real Detective was interviewing her after finding out that he was actually referring to her DNA Was she on it?”

A third shared online: “A serial killer trial. I’ve never seen people like…. no evidence, no exhibits nor forensics”, with the fourth part reads: “Literally sentencing in less than 24 hours and they still haven’t used half of the evidence. Also, why wasn’t Vinny called a witness??”

No medical records

Meena accuses Liam or Billy of being the father of her unborn child, which she says sadly passed away following the Woolpack pub arson. Liam quickly finds out that Meena has never had a miscarriage and tells everyone that it’s not true.

Her lawyer accused Liam of lying about it, but fans of the ITV soap were confused that the prosecution wasn’t just releasing medical records, as that would have allowed them to prove Meena was who she was. don’t tell the truth.

“What about the doctor who examined her in the hospital after the pub blew up who said she was never pregnant,” asked one person, and another added: “So they can maybe look at her medical records to see if Ben hurt her. was she really pregnant???”

“Hello! Blood was taken from her after the explosion, can confirm that there is no pregnancy. Nor has a single hospital staff member said there was never a baby. Unless cross-checked by CPS,” one third person writes.

Meena’s solo speech

Meena gave a fiery, absolutely tearful speech in court last night – but fans aren’t sure that will happen in a real trial, as they blasted the prosecution for not interrogate her and stop her lengthy monologue.

While Manpreet, Liam and Wendy were all interrogated and interrupted several times during their time in the stands, some viewers were confused why the serial killer wasn’t treated the same way.

“Do courts really let witnesses tell for hours and hours full of untestable and untested assumptions and views that go completely unchallenged? #Emmerdale“, an obese viewer.

Another wrote: “Meena doesn’t question Ben.” How did you manage to grab the paddle with his hand around your throat? “How can you hit him in the back of the head with enough force to kill him, if he’s strangling you?” #Emmerdale. ”

*Emmerdale continues on Thursday nights at 7:30pm on ITV.
