The soap opera actor has revealed to his fans on Twitter about a project away from the soap, giving a way into the spooky horror of horror movies, most specifically movies about werewolves.

Dominic Brunt has announced his new venture away from the fields of Emmerdale.

The actor first appeared on the hit British television series Emmerdale in 1997 as Paddy Kirk, and has been nominated for numerous awards such as Best Actor at the British Soap Awards in 2011. and even received three nominations in the 2019 awards.

In addition to acting, the longtime soap actor, 52, has shared on his Twitter about another passion in life and tweeted about his exciting new project.

Dominic is a keen producer and director, working on mostly horror films, where he works alongside Joanne Mitchell.

He started his tweet to his fans saying, “Honey!!! Anyway, I’m out of Twitter prison for following so many people so fast.”

He continued promoting his brand new project: “Last trouble here: – If you follow us @wolfmanorfilm, we’ll follow you back. It’s a werewolf movie! What’s not to like???!!” Thanks to his 113.9k Twitter followers for the support.

Dominic’s latest Wolf Manor production has begun filming, and the cast includes Bridgerton’s James Fleet and Rupert Procter, who starred in the 1999 hit film Notting Hill.

This is not the first time Dominic has directed and starred in a horror film. He directed Bait in 2014, and Attack of the Adult Baby in 2017. He even starred in the 2012 zombie movie, Before Dawn.

When Wolf Manor will be released has yet to be confirmed, but the tweets on the page give interesting updates on the process.

The filmmaker will continue to make the horror film alongside the cast of Emmerdale. Emmerdale will continue to air at its regular 7:30 p.m. weekday slot on ITV.

Prior to Emmerdale, Dominic, from Accrington, Lancs, was a welder and sheet metal worker for six years, earning money through drama school by fixing cars and working in factories.
