Emmerdale Filming appeared to have halted over the weekend due to unexpected snowfall on set.

The much-loved ITV soap was filmed in north Yorkshire, where many parts of the country are experiencing frigid temperatures.

But it seems the cast and crew weren’t expecting as much snow as Saturday.

Give it to her Instagram Story, actress Rebecca Sarker – who plays Manpreet Sharma – posted a selfie video while standing in the snow in the middle of the village.

She captioned it: “Village life @ emmerdale “Snow on me,” while Lady Gaga’s hit Rain on Me plays above all else.

The next video clip shows Rebecca, 47, with her hood pulled up as she tells her 18.2k followers: “End of a long week of filming. Have a nice weekend everyone.” , accompanied by a heart emoji.

The third post is a selfie of Rebecca and her co-star Kevin Mathurin, who plays vicar Charles Anderson.

She captioned the cute photo: “Snow day off with @kevin_mathurin_official.”

Kevin also shared the snap on his Instagram page and wrote along with it: “Filming on Saturday? Mother Nature had other plans @emmerdale @itv.”

Rebecca commented on the post and wrote, “Humans make plans and God laughs…” and Kevin replied, “Perfect.”

The dramatic week ended with Dr Liam Cavanagh pushing serial killer Meena off the bridge on which she pushed his daughter Leanna.

But it turns out that Meena survived the fall and looks like she’ll be arrested once and for all next week on ITV soap, after the police finally arrested her for murder.

There are concerns Meena could get away with her crimes and another resident could be charged, as detectives have no concrete evidence for her three murders – only a bloody glove. links her to the death of Ben Tucker.

Just like killing Ben, Meena killed Leanna Cavanagh, a girl named Nadine and Andrea Tate – while she also tried to murder Vinny Dingle, Billy Fletcher, Dawn Taylor, Victoria Sugden, her sister Manpreet Sharma and the Dog Princess.
